The Globe and Rainbow has a long history from its days as a coach house or its association with the local manor as the original out buildings attached to an Edwardian shooting lodge. We are, of course, most interested in its more recent history, especially the last 5 years or so. We (Neil and Rachel) acquired the Globe and Rainbow in January 2005. We are both experienced Food and Drink professionals and leaped at the opportunity to build our own business after successfully operating businesses for others. Together, we have turned the Globe and Rainbow into a site that still maintains the warm glow of a traditional country pub but has our own unique feel and contemporary look. Both the bar and restaurant have been carefully developed over the years to reflect our style and you will experience a cosy and intimate feel combined with a warm welcome and fresh bright surroundings.
